Each Crown Necklace starts with the deer antler. The crown of the antler is connected to the skull of the deer. A deer grows and sheds new antlers each year. We take the antler, remove the crown, grind and round the center down, sand it with several grades of sandpaper, then buff it until it shines like a large pearl. The antler crown is much harder than any wood and shines up like a beautiful white pearl.
Finally, we craft Crown Necklaces which include setting semi-precious gemstone center pieces in the pearl crown center, then surrounding the pendant with semi-precious chain beads (with bone, bronze, silver, and copper spacers), and then secure with a toggle clasp to complete the necklace.
